These are some of my favorite places for food and drinks around Rhode Island.
The Nitro Bar: This coffee bar is all over social media and has been on my daughters to visit list for a while. They are located in Newport and Providence. We visited the the Providence location. We read that wait times can be over an hour during the busy times. Since we visited mid morning on a Wednesday we only waited a few minutes. I was skeptical with something this popular, but wow this coffee bar lived up to it expectations and more. My daughter, her friend and my husband all got coffees and said it was the best coffee they had ever had. I had a tea, which was refreshing and flavorful. We also got food, my husband a coffee cake, my daughter and her friend got the Pesto Bagel. My husband and I split a the Farmers Bagel. The food was so fresh and flavorful. This is now all of our all time favor coffee shop.
