Goat Cuddles and Hike

A goat hike is on my 2026 goal list. I have been following Bracken Hill Farm in Northborough, Massachusetts. They do a variety of activities around their farm animals. One of the things they do is goat hikes. A friend and I booked tickets for their Cuddle and Hike with Goats.

Bracken Hill Farm has a variety of animals from ducks, chickens, a cow, horse, donkeys, llamas and the star of the show, goats.

The owner was very friendly and passionate about his animals providing a lot of education on them. We got about 30 minutes in a fenced in area to interact with the baby and adult goats.

We also got to cuddle with some llamas.

After cuddle time we headed out for a short hike around the property with the goats. The hike was not flat it was up and down a little hill. They gave us keeps of food to keep the goats motivated.

The hike was about a half mile and we were out for about 20 minutes. Then we returned to the farm for more time with the animals and to ask questions if needed.

My friend and I loved the goat hike. I would have liked the hike to be a little longer, but I am not sure how far goats can hike. Overall, we both agreed we would go back to Bracken Hill Farm again.
